I was hired to design the branding and event collateral for a Santa Cruz x Jagermeister event, hosted by Atiba Jefferson. This event was a celebration of the reissued iconic 1990’s Jeff Kendall Santa Cruz x Jagermeister board.

Jagermeister needed a creative way to co-brand the event they sponsored for Santa Cruz skateboards.

The three most important criteria considered when designing this event were:

1. Reflect the creative direction of Santa Crus in all of the event collateral.

2. Celebrate the culture of the 1990’s skate scene and all of the skaters that played a role.

3. Allow for Jagermeisters iconic branding to play a supporting role.

To ensure all the event collateral represented the energy of Santa Cruz and 1990’s skateboarding, I used skate photos taken by Atiba Jefferson.

To pay homage to such a special moment, I incorporated elements of the original board graphic into as many assets as I could.

Lastly, I allowed for Jagermeisters iconic branding to play a supporting role by using their iconic green and orange color palette for all the colllateral.
